Project purpose

The stormwater system in this area is made of corrugated metal pipe and has reached the end of its useful life. This project is part of the City's ongoing efforts to maintain and upgrade its infrastructure. The project has received County Stormwater Management Program funding, which reduces the City's costs.


Project description

The project will involve replacing or lining the existing stormwater system to restore its condition to acceptable levels.


Current status

Construction of this project is anticipated take place during the fall and winter of 2025.

July 2025: Easement acquisition underway.

March 12, 2025: The City held an open house informational meeting with consultant Olsson to explain the proposed storm drainage improvements for the Brighton, Hickory Woods and Rosewood neighborhoods.
