Project purpose

The program funds improvements to the street system that address issues identified in the Complete Streets Plan, and improves the overall transportation network to better accommodate all modes of transportation.

Project description

Implement complete streets improvements throughout the city including signing, pavement marking, filling missing sidewalk gaps, crosswalks, etc. as recommended in the Complete Streets Plan.

Specific projects are identified annually.

Projects

Traffic signal modifications to accommodate pedestrians at these locations:

  • Marshall Drive and Pflumm Road
  • 101st Terrace and Lackman Road
  • 95th Street and Monrovia Street
  • 90th Street and Lackman Road

Sidewalk links at these locations:

  • Lackman Road from 107th Street to College Boulevard
  • Pflumm Road from 96th Terrace to Marshall Drive
  • Monrovia Street from 95th Street to 96th Terrace

Current status

July 2025: Working on agreement with consultant.

February 2026: Working on the design for traffic signal modifications to accommodate pedestrians at the following locations. Construction anticipated to start in spring 2027.
