Active Shooter Response Training

Lenexa police officer teaching a group about active shooter response training

Is your organization trained in how to respond to an active shooter event?

The Lenexa Police Department provides free active shooter response training to Lenexa businesses, churches, civic groups, and any other interested organizations.

We teach the 'Run, Hide, Fight' method of response, which is the most commonly advocated civilian response to active shooter emergencies.

This classroom-style training can be conducted at your location, at a time convenient for your organization. We can provide multiple sessions to accommodate larger organizations or various shift workers.

Each session lasts approximately 75 minutes.
