Police Ride-Alongs

Our citizen ride-along program gives you the chance to see first-hand the duties of our patrol officers. Patrol ride-alongs are available Sunday through Friday, for a maximum of up to four hours.  

Eligibility

To participate in a ride-along with us, you must:

  • Be a Lenexa resident.
  • Have limited or no criminal history or problematic police contacts.
  • Consent to a background check.
  • Wear work-appropriate clothing during your ride-along.
