Request Police Kansas Open Records

A Kansas Open Records Request is a general request for records in our custody. 

The criteria for public release of these documents are more stringent. Open records requests are governed by Lenexa Police Department policy and the Kansas Open Records Act (KORA).

Making an open records request does not automatically guarantee you access to desired records. The release of information must meet the criteria outlined in KORA. If your request is denied, you will be notified of the reasons why.
