The free WAY TO GO trip planner app (available on iOS, Android and web) helps people in the Kansas City area find greener commute options, including carpooling, vanpooling, riding transit or biking. Users can track sustainable trips, carbon emissions and money saved, and earn rewards from local and national businesses.


Bikeshare

Lenexa has partnered with BikeWalkKC’s RideKC Bike program to offer rentable electric-assist bikes at hubs around town.

Johnson County United Airport Drop and Ride

Johnson County United Airport Drop and Ride will provide direct service from Kansas City International Airport to Lenexa City Center and the Overland Park Convention Center during FIFA World Cup 2026™.

Drop and Ride service will operate free of charge. This service is drop-off service only. No long-term parking is available at Lenexa City Center or Overland Park Convention Center.

Riders may board at any designated stop along the route. Service generally operates every 30 minutes June 1–July 16, and every 60 minutes starting July 17 (and running as long as funding is available).
