Lenexa Summer Camp
Lenexa Parks & Recreation offers Lenexa Summer Camp, a full-day, licensed summer camp for school-age children at two different locations. There are nine themed, week-long sessions from June 2–Aug. 1, 2025.
Your child will make lasting memories at our camp, which is jam-packed with exciting, age-appropriate indoor and outdoor games, team building, contests and hands-on challenges and projects designed for their skill level. Each week includes multiple swimming trips and a field trip.

Dates
Lenexa Summer Camp weekly sessions start June 2, 2025. You can enroll your child in one week or all nine weeks. Pick what works for your schedule. To view weekly themes, visit our registration webpage.

Monday–Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Ages
Children who have completed kindergarten through age 13.
Fees
Camp fees are charged on a biweekly basis.

Forms
All campers who are successfully enrolled in summer 2025 must complete the required forms in our camp software, Epact. Details will be emailed out to all enrolled parents.
Camp staff
Summer camp sessions are led by high school and college staff who are age 16 and older. They are friendly, patient, fun and energetic, and they are trained for at least 20 hours in topics such as group control, positive discipline, safety and first aid.

2025 Enrollment dates
Priority registration: (for camp families who attended any camp weeks during summer 2024)
Opens: Wednesday, Jan. 22, 2025, at noon. Register online only. Spots are first come, first served.
Closes: When all spots are full or on Sunday, Jan. 26, 2025, at 11:59 p.m. – whichever occurs first.
General registration: Any available spots that are not filled during priority registration will open Jan. 27, 2025, at noon.
