A short meeting will be held outside the Lenexa Rec Center near the Body Politic public art at Winchester Street. After the meeting adjourns, the Parks & Recreation Advisory Board will board a shuttle for a park/city tour.

The Parks & Recreation Advisory Board guides staff decisions regarding parks and recreation. They make recommendations to the Lenexa City Council concerning items such as park development and improvements, programs and events, and recreation facilities.

• The Parks & Recreation Advisory Board generally meets on the second Wednesday of the month at 5:30 p.m. Meeting locations may vary.
• Agendas are generally available the Friday before each meeting. Minutes of previous meetings are available after they are approved at the following meeting.
• Meetings are open to the public.

• Assistive listening devices are available for use in the Community Forum upon request.
