Avery Bell was elected to serve as a Ward 3 council member in November 2025.
Avery was raised in Countryside, Kansas, (now Mission) and moved to Lenexa in 2015.
He received an undergraduate degree from Michigan State University, and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Kansas, specializing in finance.
Professionally, Avery has been in the infrastructure space for over a decade supporting design, project management, and construction of mission critical projects throughout the country. He serves as an account manager for Siemens supporting corporate account needs.
Avery and his wife can be found often walking their two dogs through the nature trails in our beautiful city, playing pickleball at Bois D'Arc Park or cooling off at the Ad Astra Pool.
