Master plan outlines vision for new fire station Published on October 15, 2025 Lenexa staff presented a master plan for the future of City-owned property at 87th Street Parkway and Monrovia to the Governing Body during a Committee of the Whole meeting on Oct. 14, 2025. Staff recommend a new-build concept for a Fire Station 6 on the east portion of the property, which is estimated to cost $27.7 million.
