The parking lot will be closed for maintenance over a seven day period between July 8 and Aug 11. Closure dates will be posted the end of June at the earliest.

Buffalo Meadows Park is 20.2 acres and includes a jogging/walking trail, open space to play and ample parking for a variety of events and gatherings.

Practice fields

Buffalo Meadows Park has open space that can be used for sports practices on a first-come, first-served basis.

Playgrounds

Buffalo Meadows is known for its wide open spaces and includes two separate play areas for ages 2–5 and 5–12. There are many slides, a climbing wall, stepping balancers, a tunnel, kids' picnic area, climbing chute, four full-size swings and two tot swings. The play surface is wood mulch. Nearby restrooms, shelter, parking and access to open play fields makes this playground a hit. This is Lenexa's only shelter that has a pad for inflatables to be set up during shelter rentals.
