Flat Rock Creek Park is a site where the Santa Fe Trail crossed Rock Creek and is known as the Rock Creek Camp Ground in some early travelers’ journals. The 5.9-acre park has a large natural area, a creek and a .4-mile walking/jogging trail
At 247,000 gallons, Flat Rock Creek Pool is great for families looking for a fun day in the water. It has a zero-depth entry, on-deck and in-water shade structures, in-water benches, three 25-yard lap lanes and other interactive water features.
Flat Rock Creek Pool is generally open from Memorial Day through early August each year.
There are two tennis courts, with one also lined for pickleball. Courts are available on a first-come, first-served basis, unless they are previously reserved.

Often thought of as the kids' fort, this playground features ladder climbing, log stepping, fire pole, a slide, two tot swings and two regular swings. It is surrounded by shade trees so it can be a great getaway on a warm summer day with a creek trickling nearby. The playground surface is wood mulch.
