Playground Passport

Adventure awaits!

Explore Lenexa's playgrounds, solve the secret code and win! Kids have from June 1 to Sept. 15 to visit the select playgrounds in this year's Playground Passport. Here's how to participate:

  1. Sign up.
Get reminders, tips and fun things to try at each park when you sign up. (Free).

  2. Get your passport.
Download the 2024 passport (available June 1) and print it off or pick up a free passport at the Lenexa Community Center or Lenexa Rec Center.

  3. Visit the playgrounds.
Start exploring! Each playground in this year's program will have a small sign with a letter and number. Write the letter you find on the sign above the number in your passport. Letter code signs are usually on existing posts near the playground.

  4. Turn in your passport.
Bring your completed passport to the Parks & Recreation desk at the Lenexa Rec Center by Sept. 15 to receive a free t-shirt and a chance to win a gift card to either a sporting goods store or toward Lenexa Parks & Recreation programming.

Tips

  • Parks with multiple playgrounds have the same code.
  • If you think a sign is missing, please contact Lenexa Parks & Recreation.
  • Siblings can share a passport. List each child's name on the passport for each to get a t-shirt and a chance to win the prize drawing.
  • Tag your playground photos #SeeLenexa on social media for a chance to appear on the back cover of TownTalk.
  • Explore the rest of Lenexa's parks and playgrounds.
