Rec Center Birthday Parties

Create a memory that will last a lifetime by hosting your child's next birthday party at the Lenexa Rec Center. Choose from party packages designed to ensure maximum fun for all ages.

Party packages

Lenexa Rec Center X Pass Members get a 10% discount on birthday party packages. 

Starfish Package – $225

2 hours total: party room, then pool

  • 45 minutes in a private party room

  • 1 hour and 15 minutes in the pool

  • Admission for up to 25 people, including adults. Additional party participants are $6 per person up to 36 people maximum (depending on size of assigned party room).

  • Gift for the birthday child

Star Package – $235

2 hours total: party room, then activity gym

  • 45 minutes in a private party room

  • 1 hour and 15 minutes in the activity gym
    Select two options: Ninja Turtle bounce house, Frozen bounce house, dodgeball, Gaga ball, wiffleball, PE games, toddler toys, kickball, Nerf Battle Zone inflatable barriers, pickleball, soccer, futsal, flag football)  

  • Admission for up to 25 people, including adults. Additional party participants are $6 per person up to 36 people maximum (depending on size of assigned party room).

  • Gift for the birthday child

All-Star Package – $345

3 hours total: party room, then activity gym, then pool

  • 45 minutes in a private party room

  • 1 hour in half of the activity gym
    Select two options: Ninja Turtle bounce house, Frozen bounce house, dodgeball, Gaga ball, wiffleball, PE games, toddler toys, kickball, Nerf Battle Zone inflatable barriers, pickleball, soccer, futsal, flag football) 

  • 1 hour and 15 minutes in the pool

  • Admission for up to 25 people, including adults. Additional party participants are $6 per person up to 36 people maximum (depending on size of assigned party room).

  • Gift for the birthday child

Superstar Package – $400

4 hours total: party room, then activity gym, then pool or second-floor gym

  • 45 minutes in a private party room

  • 1 hour and 15 minutes in full activity gym (options: Nerf Battle Zone inflatable barriers, pickleball, futsal, flag football, Inflatable zone – two bounce houses, Gaga ball)

  • 2 hours in the pool OR second-floor gym (gym activities subject to current schedule; no private reservation for parties)

  • Admission for up to 25 people, including adults. Additional party participants are $6 per person up to 36 people maximum (depending on size of assigned party room).

  • Gift for the birthday child

Reservation policies

All reservations must be made at least two weeks in advance of your requested party and not more than 90 days in advance. Payment in full is due at the time of the reservation.

  • You must arrive 15 minutes before your party's scheduled time.
  • Free parking is available in the parking garage directly south of the building.
  • If a child requires a flotation device, it must be U.S. Coast Guard-approved, and an adult must be within arm's reach of that child at all times.
  • We allow outside food and drink at birthday parties, and we can supply a refrigerator for your needs.
  • All parties in the pool require adult supervision. Children 8 and younger must be supervised by adults with a 5-children-to-1-adult-ratio.
  • All children who are attending a birthday party must have a liability waiver(PDF, 42KB) completed by a parent or guardian.

How to reserve your party 

Online

Step 1.Review party options and policies

Take a moment to read through our birthday party package options and reservation policies before booking.

Step 2.Start your reservation

Click on the "Book a birthday party" button below and complete the reservation form. Be sure to select Lenexa Rec Center as your party location.

Step 3.Check availability

  1. Choose your desired party package.
  2. Select a preferred date and time.

Note: If all times show as “reserved,” that date is fully booked.

Step 4.Review agreements

Carefully read the Release of Liability and Birthday Party Contract before proceeding.

Step 5.Submit your request

Once the reservation form is submitted, your chosen time slot will be temporarily held.

Step 6.Submit payment

Click the payment link (also emailed to you after submitting your form). Payment is required to finalize your reservation.

Save your confirmation number. This will be required to submit payment.

Step 7.Final confirmation

After staff review (please allow 24–72 hours), you’ll receive a Party Verification Email confirming your booking details.
