Document Shredding Event

Have sensitive documents laying around? Protect your identity by shredding your files.

The City is partnering with Midwest Shredding Service, LLC, to offer a morning of free document shredding. Residents can bring documents in bags or boxes to the Municipal Services Service Center to be shredded on-site. Documents can contain paper clips, staples and binder clips. But they must be free of plastic binders and metal hanging folders.

Midwest Shredding will provide Certificate of Destruction handouts and return any containers. Shredding is for paper only. Electronics, CDs and DVDs not accepted.

Proof of Lenexa residency is required at the gate.

Location

The Service Center is located across from Mill Creek Elementary School, between Lackman and Pflumm, with access from 79th Street.
