The Doug Talley Quartet delivers a rich blend of classic and contemporary jazz, featuring imaginative improvisation and smooth, melodic interplay. Led by acclaimed saxophonist Doug Talley, a Kansas City jazz mainstay known for his refined tone and decades of performance and teaching experience, the group showcases the artistry and spirit that define the region’s jazz tradition. With a repertoire that spans swinging standards, soulful ballads and original compositions, the quartet invites audiences to sit back, relax and experience the timeless energy of live jazz at its finest.

City Center Live is Lenexa Parks & Recreation's free performing arts series featuring a variety of musical and small theatrical acts. It takes place on select Saturdays from October to March.
