City Center Live: Morris & Depew

Next date: Saturday, February 13, 2027 | 06:30 PM

Get ready for an evening of Americana, folk and bluegrass with Morris & Depew. Andrew Morris and John Depew combine a love of traditional American music with a taste for experimental songcraft, creating a show that is equal parts familiar, inventive and fun.

The duo easily trades between banjo, mandolin and guitar while swapping lead and harmony vocals. Their set includes traditional songs alongside original material, with arrangements that range from straight-ahead bluegrass to unexpected and unconventional musical twists.

Morris, a native of Warsaw, Ind., has performed at the Grand Ole Opry with The HillBenders and toured the U.S. and Europe with The Matchsellers. Depew, from Arlington, Kan., is a Kansas State Mandolin Champion and performs with the John Depew Trio.

Come hear two talented Kansas musicians put their own spin on traditional American music.
