Make memories and spend quality time together as a family outdoors. Lenexa’s Family Campout at Black Hoof Park is a great way to try camping for the first time. 

Bring your own tent, sleeping bags, lawn chairs and whatever you want to eat for dinner. We'll make sure the charcoal grills are ready and provide yards games, nature activities, crafts and fishing bait and poles. When the sun sets enjoy S’mores around the campfire at Oak Shelter. In the morning we'll have donuts, coffee and juice.

Fee:  $32 for first four family members; $8 for each additional family member. Register by Sept. 26. We can only accommodate 20-25 tents.
