Planning Commission Meeting 8/26/2024

This meeting will include multiple applications for Special Use Permits, including an application for a Special Use Permit for a homeless shelter. If you wish to speak during the Public Hearing for the homeless shelter, please register. Registration is not required to speak at other Public Hearings on the meeting agenda.

The Planning Commission reviews and makes recommendations on planning and zoning issues in Lenexa. It also makes recommendations about rezoning, special-use permits and preliminary plan applications, which are then considered by the Lenexa City Council. The Planning Commission approves final plans, with or without conditions.

The Planning Commission typically meets on the first Monday of the month at 7 p.m. at Lenexa City Hall.
Agendas are generally available the Thursday before each meeting. Minutes of previous meetings are available after they are approved at the following meeting.
