Advance in-person voting for the fall general election takes place Oct. 25–Nov. 3 at various locations. Or apply to vote by mail by Oct. 28. Election Day is Tuesday, Nov. 4.

In recognition of Veterans Day, the Lenexa Rec Center is proud to honor those who have served our country. From Monday, Nov. 10, through Friday, Nov. 14, 2025, U.S. military veterans and active-duty members are invited to stop by the Rec Center front desk for a free day pass.
Veterans and those currently serving may choose to enjoy the facility immediately — taking advantage of the fitness floor, walking track, swimming pool and more — or pick up a pass to use at a later date. It’s our way of saying thank you for your service while providing a space to relax, recharge and connect with the community.
While you’re in the area, consider visiting Lenexa City Hall Art Gallery, located right next door, to see the Place of Peace Veterans Art Exhibit. This powerful show highlights creative works by local veterans and offers a moving perspective on their experiences.
