Health care workers invited to free fitness classes May 11–16

As a special thank you to the health care professionals who keep our community healthy, the Lenexa Rec Center is offering free access to Group X fitness classes for all health care workers May 11–16, 2026.

Health care workers simply need to show a valid work ID at the front desk to enjoy any Group X class on the schedule at no cost. From energizing cycle and strength training to calming yoga and dance-based workouts, there’s something for every fitness level and interest.

“We recognize the incredible effort and long hours health care workers dedicate every day,” said Johnny Linder, Rec Center manager. “This is our way of giving back and helping them recharge and take care of themselves.”

No advance registration is required. Just arrive early, bring your ID, check in at the front desk, and enjoy a class that fits your schedule and energy level

Group X class schedule
