Join us for a reception sponsored by Blue Moose Bar & Grill on Thursday, Aug. 21, 2025, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Lenexa City Hall Art Gallery.

Discover the creativity thriving in your own backyard! The Lenexa Artists’ Show highlights an eclectic mix of artwork from artists who call Lenexa home. From vivid landscapes to striking abstracts, this exhibit is a chance to see your neighbors in a new light — through the lens of their artistic passion. You might even recognize the inspiration behind some of the pieces: familiar faces, local landmarks and shared moments reimagined in bold and beautiful ways.

About the Lenexa Artists’ Show
For more than 30 years, the Lenexa Arts Council has proudly presented this juried showcase, featuring artists who live in Lenexa. Some are seasoned professionals. Others are passionate hobbyists. All bring heart, skill and a unique story to the canvas, lens or sculpture.

Each spring, local artists are invited to submit work in multiple categories during a three-month application window. After careful review by a jury panel, selected pieces are featured in the exhibit and judged by independent experts. Winners are honored and announced at the reception celebrating their talent and vision.
