City Center Live: Beau Bledsoe and Ezgi Karakus
Next date: Saturday, November 08, 2025 | 06:30 PM
Based in Kansas City, Ensemble Ibérica is known for its vibrant exploration of the music of Spain, Portugal, and Latin America. Karakus, originally from Turkey, brings a rich classical training and global perspective to her emotive cello playing. Bledsoe, the group’s founder and artistic director, draws from classical, flamenco, and folk traditions across the Iberian diaspora to create an evocative and layered guitar sound.
Together, they deliver performances that are both intimate and expansive—a musical journey that bridges continents, cultures, and centuries.
