Art tells the stories that matter most — and brings people together in powerful ways. For more than 30 years, the Lenexa Arts Council has celebrated local creativity through the Lenexa Artists’ Show, an annual exhibition exclusively for Lenexa residents, from passionate hobbyists to seasoned professionals.

The 2025 show features 32 talented artists, with works ranging from bold paintings and intricate sculptures to striking photography and digital art. You can view the collection in the Lenexa City Hall Art Gallery through Sept. 28, 2025.

A public reception on Aug. 21 gave visitors the chance to meet the artists, hear the stories behind their work, and join in the celebration. Awards were presented in three categories: 2D art, 3D art, and photography/digital art, judged by Lori Stanziola and Dan Dakotas.
