The Community Forum/Lobby spaces in Lenexa City Hall are ideal to rent for meetings and training seminars. Rental reservations can be made up to six months in advance and require at least a two-week notice.

Rental hours

Daily: 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. (in general) 

Rental time must include any prep and cleanup time. Rentals after 5 p.m. weekdays and anytime on weekends must be a minimum of two hours.

Available for two rentals per group per six-month period.

The Community Forum is not available on:

  • Tuesdays
  • Saturdays from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. from late April to late October (Lenexa Farmers Market operation) 

Rental rates

Rental fee includes setup of tables and chairs, technology, amenities and on-site concierge. Additional fees may apply for alcohol consumption and damage deposit.

We offer discounted rates to Lenexa residents and businesses. Separate nonprofit rates are not available.

How to rent


Rental policies

Alcohol and security policy

In order to have alcohol at your event, you must be at least 21 years old. Complete the Facility Alcohol Permit Form(PDF, 70KB) and pay the additional $100 permit fee at least 60 days before your event.

An off-duty Lenexa police officer(s) will be scheduled to work your event. Parks and Rec staff will schedule the officer(s) 30 minutes before alcohol is first served until 30 minutes after the last call and all alcohol is put away. The fee is $50 per officer per hour, paid in cash directly to the officer(s) when they arrive.
