Old Town Activity Center Birthday Parties

Guests get access to thousands of bricks to build. The only limit is your imagination! Compete against fellow partygoers to build the fastest race car. There will be assorted bins to build whatever you want. Don’t forget to take a photo with your creations.

1 hour 30 minutes total: Oak Room

• Party starts with 1 hour of activity followed by 30 minutes for food and presents.

• Admission for up to 20 people, including adults. Additional party participants are $6 per person up 28 people maximum.

• Party gift included.

Preschool centers including sensory table arranged throughout the room to offer fun and interactive experiences for young children.

1 hour 30 minutes total: Oak Room

2 hours total: Walnut Room, then gymnasium

• Party starts with 30 minutes for food and presents then moves to one half of the gym for 1 hour 30 minutes of activity.

• Admission for up to 20 people, including adults. Additional party participants are $6 per person up 28 people maximum.

• Party gift included.

• Choose two activities for gym play:

  • Basketball
  • Dodgeball
  • Wiffle ball
  • Futsal
  • Kickball
  • Flag football
  • Inflatable bounce house

The City of Lenexa will not be responsible for or liable for any illness or injury to person or for loss of or damage to property which may result from the use of the Lenexa Old Town Activity Center (“Facility”) and/or participation in any activities or programs relating to or arising out of the reservation. The individual who completes the reservation agrees to forever release, indemnify and hold harmless the City, its officials, officers, employees, agents and volunteers from any and all claims of any kind that such individual, or their respective heirs, executors, administrators or assigns may have arising out of the use of the Facility and/or participation in any activities or programs, including but not limited to accidents, injuries, illness, loss of or damage to person or property.

• Attendants do not lead activities, only facilitate transition times. They will be available to provide supplies and answer questions.
• Activity materials must stay in the Gym and Oak Room.
• The following items are permitted: balloons, table decorations, party hats and trinkets.
• Renter is responsible for cleaning up the party space so that the staff need only to sweep the floor and wipe off the tables.
• Items prohibited: alcoholic beverages, nails, staples, screws, cellophane, any adhesive material, confetti, bubbles, rice, silly string, glitter, smoke machines and open-flamed devices.
• A cart will be available to assist with transporting your items out of the building.
• You can bring your own food into the party space.
• All guests are required to follow any and all Lenexa Parks and Recreation rules and/or other directions given by Lenexa Parks and Recreation staff.
• Parties will have access to half of the gym. This will include 3 basketball goals. The lowest the basketball goals can go is 8 ft. Goals are lowered upon request.
