The Oak Room at Lenexa Old Town Activity Center is a multipurpose rental space ideal for family gatherings, meetings, or even a baby or wedding shower.

Rental hours

Monday–Thursday: 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Sunday: 8 a.m. to 11 a.m., 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Rental time must include any prep and cleanup time.

How to rent this venue

Rental rates

Rental fee includes setup of tables and chairs, technology amenities and on-site concierge. Additional fees may apply for alcohol consumption and damage deposit.

We offer discounted rates to Lenexa residents and businesses. Separate nonprofit rates are not available.

Non-prime-time cost

Monday–Friday: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Rental policies

Alcohol and security policy

In order to have alcohol at your event, you must be at least 21 years old. Complete the Facility Alcohol Permit Form(PDF, 217KB) and pay the additional $100 permit fee at least 60 days before your event.

An off-duty Lenexa police officer(s) will be scheduled to work your event. Parks and Rec staff will schedule the officer(s) 30 minutes before alcohol is first served until 30 minutes after the last call and all alcohol is put away. The fee is $50 per officer per hour, paid in cash directly to the officer(s) when they arrive.
