Free outdoor fitness classes this fall

Back-to-school season is the perfect time to return to a fitness routine. Let the Lenexa Rec Center help you Fall Back to Fitness with a select number of free Group X classes held outdoors on the Lenexa civic campus Sept. 22–26, 2025.

Try one class or try them all — no membership or registration required. Whether you’re curious about barre, yoga, cycling or bootcamp, this is a great opportunity to explore what moves you and discover how Group X classes can support your fitness goals.

Come move with us and find your favorite way to stay active this fall!

  • Ages 16+.
  • Free and open to the public.
  • Bring a yoga mat if you have one.
  • In case of inclement weather, classes will move indoors. Please check in at the welcome desk if indoors.

Schedule

Monday, Sept. 22

9–10 a.m.: Hatha Yoga

Breathe, stretch and move through gentle poses that improve flexibility, balance and mindfulness.

6:30–7:20 p.m.: Zumba®

Dance your way to fitness with upbeat Latin-inspired moves and high-energy fun.

Tuesday. Sept. 23

10–10:45 a.m.: Lift-Row

Boost strength and endurance with a mix of weight training and rowing intervals.

5:45–6:35 p.m.: Cardio Sculpt

Burn calories and build lean muscle with a combo of cardio bursts and strength work.

Wednesday, Sept. 24

9–9:50 a.m.: TRX® Knock Out

Punch, kick and sweat your way through a high-intensity kickboxing-style workout.

5:30–6:15 p.m.: Circuit Training

Rotate through stations for a full-body workout that keeps your heart rate up.

5:30–6:30 p.m.: Zumba®

Another chance to enjoy this fun, dance-based cardio party!

Thursday, Sept. 25

10:30–11 a.m.: Stretch & Roll

Loosen up tight muscles and increase mobility with stretching and foam rolling techniques.

6–7 p.m.: Yoga Fusion

Blend yoga, Pilates and strength elements for a mindful yet challenging workout.

Friday, Sept. 26

9–9:45 a.m.: Boot Camp

Push your limits with this high-intensity mix of cardio, strength and functional training.

6–7 p.m.: Yoga

Center yourself with a flow designed to improve flexibility, balance and relaxation.
